We would like to thank you for supporting Jack and Jess in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our story began in 2018. We clicked first as coworkers, then friends, to (not so) secret lovers, & eventually life partners. We thought we were being subtle; but despite our best efforts, our coworkers started to catch on, At one point, Jess was fully cornered at a pub by friends from work who basically interrogated her until she admitted what was going on. We knew office romance was risky but our connection was too special to let pass. The secret was very much out!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is our wedding! It was a beautiful weekend sharing our love with family and friends from all over. We planned our events around our shared love of the ocean, delicious food, and community. Some highlights included a romantic sunset rehearsal dinner in Salem, brunch with our wedding parties, exchanging vows privately by the ocean, and working up a sweat on the dance floor to take down a seemingly endless dessert buffet.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use most of the money to purchase our first home and put down permanent roots in the Boston area. It would also help significantly with paying down some student loans to put our best foot forward in this new chapter.
