Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on Friday the 13th, 1991. I was a senior in high school on my way to a friend's house when they mentioned that a friend had just returned from working on a sailboat. I remember thinking, "A new prospect!" The moment we met, we clicked. It felt easy, natural, and right from the very beginning. We've been inseparable ever since. Over the years, our love has grown as we've built a life together, raised a family, and created a business side by side.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Choosing one favorite memory feels impossible because every adventure seems to become our new favorite. From raising a family and building a business together to road trips, campfires, and everyday moments that make us laugh until we cry, we've created a lifetime of memories. If we had to choose a favorite, it might be that we've never stopped making new ones. After 30 years together, we still believe our best adventure may be the one waiting around the next corner.

What would you do with $20,000?

We don't like spending money before it's in the bank, but if we won $20,000, we'd invest it in our future together. We'd continue building the little oasis we've created on our property, adding spaces where family and friends can gather, relax, and make memories. For us, the prize wouldn't be about buying things. It would be about creating new adventures, sharing them with the people we love, and making the next chapter even better than the last.
