Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story started on the Ultimate Frisbee field in college. I was just 18 when we met, and we were married a year later. We spent the next five years enjoying life as a couple before starting our family. In that time, we’ve moved 11 times and lived in 4 different states, turning every house into a home. Now, we are busy, happy parents to our two littles: our 3-year-old daughter and 8-month-old son. It has been such a wonderful journey growing together from those college days to now.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In 2021, our international trip was cancelled due to COVID, so we spontaneously booked tickets to Hawaii instead. We spent two incredible weeks there, even going skydiving where we saw whales breaching beneath us—it felt like we truly lived before settling down. We got pregnant just one month later! Looking back, that surprise getaway remains our favorite memory—a beautiful, adventurous chapter before our life as parents to our two littles began. It was the perfect adventure for us.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, we would prioritize our family’s future and our love for adventure. First, we’d set aside a portion for our children’s college funds to ensure they have a strong start. Then, we’d take a portion to pay down some debt for peace of mind. With the remainder, we’d plan a dream trip—perhaps finally taking that international vacation that was cancelled back in 2021! Investing in memories, security, and our life together as a family of four would be the best use for us.
