Connect How did your love story begin?

What started as a cure for boredom while I was home sick in Germany turned into the adventure of a lifetime. I created a dating profile on a whim, met the love of my life, and four years later, we were married! Before him, I rarely traveled. Now? He’s taken me to Paris, introduced me to the cruise life, and completely opened up my world. He turned a self-proclaimed homebody into his forever travel partner. Now we live in beautiful Hawaii due to his military commitment.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

If I had to pick our absolute favorite memories, it would be our incredible times on cruises and our massive moves across the globe, first to South Korea, and then to Hawaii. Moving to entirely different countries was incredibly stressful, but it taught us so much about who we are as a team. We learned that when things get rough, we hang tight and lean on each other. Those high-stress chapters didn't pull us apart, they proved that we can handle anything life throws at us.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning the $20,000 would go entirely toward our dream of starting a family through IVF. After undergoing difficult surgeries, I learned that I’m unable to get pregnant naturally. It is both of our ultimate wish to have a child of our own. We’ve navigated huge moves and stressful hurdles together, always hanging tight. This money would break down the financial walls of fertility treatments and give us the greatest gift imaginable: the chance to finally hold our miracle baby.
