We were friends before we loved. At the foundation of our relationship is a need to just be with each other.

I don’t think either of us know when our love story started but both of can recall times in which we noticed each other. We live in a small town. I noticed him when we were at our kids school open house; he noticed me when I was at the local grocery store. Our official friendship started in a laundry room of all places drying our kids soccer uniforms for a tournament. It was like the Ross/Rachel Uberwiess episode from friends…and to this day he calls me Uber. We fell in friendship before love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?He is a rough tough dude; I’m fancy. He asked me to go on a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. To this day he is pretty dramatic about the fact that he was wearing sports clothes and I was in a lace white bohemian styled dress. Let’s just say, we were not the best styled couple…and now, he’s upgraded his style, he loves his jewelry…and I’m now a little bit more cozy these days. We definitely helped each other evolve!
What would you do with $20,000?We are getting married in Sept after 6 years! We have both maintained our own houses to grow our kids and not make them merge households. They graduated in May so we are planning a fun party. I’d use the money to make it the best wedding we could ever have celebrating with our families!
