We first crossed paths in HS, but timing waited. Years later David found me on Facebook. Messages became calls while he worked Oregon weekdays & visited WA on weekends. One Friday I mentioned the Seattle Aquarium, & the next day became our first date. He drove to Whidbey Island for dinner & a walk, then picked me up at sunrise next day for Seattle — drinks, shops, aquarium, scooters, pizza & wine. At the end of the night before the last ferry home, we cuddled & that was our beginning to it all.

My favorite memory as a couple thus far was when he came back up to Whidbey Island to stay for the 1st time together under the same roof. During the stay, he gifted me a beautiful diamond cross necklace, which made my heart melt! Later, we head down the beach, where we built a fire pit in the sand & lit it at dusk. That night we talked, laughed, listened to music, & danced by the ocean & fire, under the stars & moon lit sky, while both immensely enjoying each other’s company.

We would either put it towards a car so I can drive down to see him more often, instead of him always having to drive up to me. Possibly towards a rental property, that way I can relocate closer to him. Or take a wonderful trip to Hawaii or Alaska together, as we both have never been to either place, so we can just create many more romantic & everlasting memories. Or if we do it right, then we might even be able to do all 3!
