In 2022, India moved across the country to a new high school where she met Harrison. They both competed in speech & debate and theatre, where their interests kindled a relationship. After a long bus ride following a debate tournament, Harrison worked up the nerve to ask India out… but failed to make eye contact during the interaction. India found it adorable, and they have been together ever since. They are now continuing their three and half year relationship into college, marking a new chapter

India and Harrison find their favorite memories in the holidays. For instance, Christmas offers a range of outings, but none are as special as ice skating. Harrison used to play hockey, while India couldn’t be more afraid of the ice. This dynamic turned every public session into a private lesson. Harrison gets to share a passion of his, while India has an excuse to cling to him. Clearly that strategy worked, as an ice skating date was the first time they held hands many years ago.

Since Harrison and India are both early in their college careers, $20,000 would mainly go towards funding their education (after buying new ice skates, of course). India is currently studying Theatre Education, and plans on being the favorite teacher in school. Harrison is studying Journalism, and is considering a career in writing or broadcasting. With limited scholarships, this money would help them advance their future careers early on and achieve a relationship free of financial burden.
