Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began long before we met. We attended the same junior high and high school years apart, knew each other’s siblings, and fell in love with each other’s families before we ever fell in love with each other. When we finally met through Shakespeare, there was an instant connection. Well… for Abram, anyway. Hannah needed a little longer to get over her (not-so-brief) crush on his younger brother. The rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It feels impossible to choose just one. Doing somersaults into piles of autumn leaves, holding hands for the first time and watching a thunderstorm under a blanket. Jumping into a lake fully clothed just because it sounded fun. But I still get giddy when I think about the night Abram shared a playlist he’d quietly pieced together for years before we ever dated. He’d titled it “H,” and every song reminded him of me or the future he hoped we might someday share. I still listen to it often.

What would you do with $20,000?

First? We’d finally replace our “stained glass” windshield. Yes, it really is that cracked, lol. Then we’d divvy up the rest between saving for our first home, starting fertility treatments to grow our family, and chasing the creative work we love. It would help Abram move closer to opening a theater and give Hannah more opportunities to pursue modeling, acting, and ceramics. They may not be the most glamorous things, but they would make a real difference in our life together.
