Connect How did your love story begin?

We have a lot of people who’d like to rightfully take credit for helping our love story. We went to the same high school, but we wouldn’t have connected without both of us attending our history teacher’s church. We have other teachers & coaches who take credit for ending Hadley’s last relationship. Both of our younger sisters schemed together and passed along to Kellen the news after Hadley’s breakup. Finally our pastor takes credit for praying often for a relationship to blossom. It worked!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our proposal has to be our favorite memory. Kellen did his best to keep it a surprise, but he kept leaving the room for mysterious phone calls so Hadley wasn’t fooled. We had a mountaintop sunset date planned, which Hadley was suspicious of, but Kellen wasn’t planning to propose since he didn’t have the ring. The jeweler called the day of and Kellen picked up the ring. Unsuspiciously, Kellen kept his hands shoved in his jacket pocket the whole date, for a beautiful but suspected sunset proposal!

What would you do with $20,000?

Kellen recently graduated from college for mechanical engineering, I’m sure most of it would go to help with student debt but we would also want to use some of the funds to help with our wedding/honeymoon. Nothing is cheap these days so having some extra help getting started in our marriage would be an exciting way to start our forever journey! <3
