Our story started with a conspiracy theory. One of my Hinge prompts mentioned that I love conspiracy theories, and instead of opening with a generic 'Hey,' Jalen asked me what my favorite theory was. One message turned into a first date, a first date turned into countless memories, and somewhere along the way, we became each other's safe space. Ever since our first date over Indian food, we've been choosing each other every day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is from a trip to Puerto Rico last September. On our last night, after enjoying amazing food and a beautiful sunset, we went to La Placita and spent hours salsa dancing together. We laughed, danced, and completely lived in the moment. It felt like the whole world faded away, and it was just us on the dance floor. Looking back, that night perfectly captured what we love most about our relationship: having fun together.
What would you do with $20,000?We'd probably save most of the $20,000 toward our future, whether that's a wedding, a house, or both. But we might use a small portion to take another trip together because traveling is one of our favorite things to do as a couple.
