Our beginning—Greg helped move a chair into my apartment. He’s always jokingly said, “See what that chair cost me?” with a big smile on his face. Later, he invited me to spend time with him & some friends. I was unable to show up. I apologized & asked for a second chance; he didn't hesitate. We hung out the next night, & 2½ years later, on September 8, 1990, we were married. Ours is a relationship built on respect, friendship, love, laughter, family, and adventure.

It’s hard to choose just one favorite memory. Our wedding day is certainly at the top, but one trip stands out. We traveled to Hershey, PA & NYC with both of our parents, grandmother, & kids—all packed into a 15-passenger van. The laughter was nonstop, especially with my stepdad driving & Greg serving as co-pilot. Their banter kept us entertained the entire trip. The memories we made together with family are ones we’ll always treasure.

After giving this more thought, we've decided our first priority would be to bless a local charity and help meet the needs of others. We've always believed in giving back. With the rest, we'd begin checking off a lifelong dream of traveling across America, taking in its incredible beauty while visiting every Major League Baseball stadium. Giving back and making memories—that's how we'd spend $20,000.
