How did your love story begin?

Long story short, I was coming out of a bad divorce, and I moved into a new neighborhood and met Lori, my next-door neighbor whose husband had died five years earlier due to cancer. We became friends, then best friends, then within a year I was living with her. We have a very special bond and a special type of love that neither of us even knew existed. We have so much in common, and both have a dream of opening a dog rescue farm in the future. People comment on us all the time, everywhere we go…

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We both have so much in common, one in which is antiques. We opened up an antique booth together in an antique mall almost 2 years ago, and us working together the way we do as ‘best friends’ is a dream come true. Because of us starting out as friends and neighbors… we felt it was appropriate to name our business… ‘Friends & Neighbors…’ We are both living in a ‘dream come true’ love story…

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put the money in an account that we are saving for to one day open a ‘Dog-Rescue’ farm, it has been both of our dreams for many years, even way before we met each other. What are the odds of 2 people randomly meeting like we did, both broken, with the same dream in life?? The money would also help us in our journey and dream to become husband and wife…
