How did your love story begin?

We met in 1990 at a country-western dance night in Laguna Beach while learning line dancing. I was born in New Jersey, and he in Honolulu, Hawaii—opposites who became best friends. For 36 years, we’ve traveled the world, celebrated life’s joys, and faced every challenge together. Through family losses, breast cancer, surgeries, and life’s unexpected turns, he’s been my unwavering source of love, strength, faith, and support. He’s still my best friend and the greatest blessing of my life.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our greatest memories aren’t just of the places we’ve traveled, but of the lives we’ve shared. We cherish family above all else. I’ll always admire my husband’s selfless devotion to helping raise his 7 siblings and care for his Mom. I treasure the sacrifices my Italian grandparents and my parents made to give me this life. Together, we’ve shared lifelong friendships and unforgettable adventures, and years of love that continue. My favorite memories are when we laugh and celebrate togetherness.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would help us pay down my husband’s student loans, a goal we’ve worked toward for years. We’d visit his nearly 90-year-old father in Hawaii, where my husband was born, and make memories while we still can. We’d also donate to the local food bank where my husband volunteers each week, delivering boxes of food to families in need. Sharing our good fortune with loved ones and our community would make the gift even more meaningful. At our age, it would be a great blessing.
