I met her getting a fuel filter for my Dad’s truck. Been in love for 4 years. It’s survived house projects, family issues and even cancer.
We would like to thank you for supporting Grace & Jake in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
The first time we met I was buying a fuel filter from her while she was working at an auto parts store. I never thought I’d ever meet such a beautiful woman at a place like that and thought she was way out of my league. I was respectful, I didn’t want to be obvious that I thought she was attractive or embarrass her while she was at work. Within those few minutes I got the feeling she was hitting on me; but I wasn’t certain. That evening, I got a FB connection from her and we hit it off!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Well, before we were married I was working on the house ripping all the old drain piping out because it had rusted. Water wasn’t going down the drains essentially. Because in 50s they used cast iron. As I was cutting away with a sawzall I accidentally nicked a water line. This is all happening in a crawl space. Water bursting everywhere and my wife comes in there with the rock and mud and helps me patch the breech. Never has any woman ever been there for me like that. Won me over. 110% woman.
What would you do with $20,000?I would probably finance it to help us have a source of passive income.
