Connect How did your love story begin?

We first dated more than 20 years ago, but life took us in different directions. Over the years, we each lived full lives, grew as individuals, and learned valuable lessons. When we reconnected two decades later, it felt as though no time had passed. We quickly realized we were finally meeting each other as the people we were meant to become. We married on Cinco de mayo 2026 and are grateful every day for our second chance at forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory was reconnecting at Washington Reagan National Airport after more than 20 years since we had dated. After a few phone conversations, I took a leap of faith and invited her to visit me in Washington, D.C. Seeing each other again felt magical - it was as though no time had passed, yet we had both grown into better versions of ourselves. What was meant to be a short visit turned into six unforgettable days that changed our lives forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the $20,000 to celebrate the next chapter of our love story. As newlyweds, we'd put it toward our honeymoon, creating memories that will last a lifetime, while also investing in our future together. After finding each other again 20 years later, every day feels like a gift, and this opportunity would help us begin married life with gratitude, adventure, purpose, and a lifetime of memories still waiting to be made.
