His family was celebrating his mom’s birthday at the restaurant I worked at. I commented on the Peanuts calendar he had given his mom, noting my last dog, a Basset/Beagle mix was named Charlie Brown and I currently live in a red house with a Beagle. His dad said George previously had a Basset named Snoopy. We all shared dog photos and I learned George currently had a Basset Hound and Coonhound, perfect matches for my Beagle. It was a pretty perfect love story that‘s gotten better every day!!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We love exchanging our perspectives on the day we met, from who said what to how cute and brave he was giving me his number. But recently we got engaged on May 4, 2026 and married on July 4, 2026 and are beginning our new life in Tampa, Florida on July 6, 2026 with our beautiful hound family! It’s such a fairy tale!
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to invest in our future family, by paying off student loans and debt, to be more financially stable and allow for planning another addition. But with dogs deep in our hearts it would be hard to imagine not paying it forward to a dog rescue to honor the story of how we met! Along with all that helping George meet Charlie Day, who he is such a huge fan of, would be the icing on the cake for me since he’s made all of my dreams come true already!
