Blind date. My friend was seeing his friend and I had to drop her off to where he was and she begged me to stay. At first, I thought her man was George. Then I realized who George was and was like “okay”. We hit if off right from the start. When we got back in my car I said to my friend “that’s the man I’m gonna marry”. Married 36 years this past February.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Time we spend with our kids and grandkids. George was an over the road trucker so when he would come home we would pile up in my room on the bed watching Disney movies till the sun went down. George and the kids would have "WWE" in the living room making the neighbors knocked on the wall. We went to Florida to see my parents during Christmas and his parents got the kids Disney Park theme tickets. Now we are making memories with our grandkids. Camping, sleepovers & little league games.
What would you do with $20,000?Our two sons Daniel and George are getting married this year. Dan in October and George in November. $20.000 would help tremendously. There’s a lot of cost between hotels traveling rehearsal dinners, flowers, and clothing. We need to fix our deck and maybe save some for a vacation. We never did have a honeymoon. But I am sure we will first take our kids and grands out for a celebration.
