How did your love story begin?

We began with playful banter on Tinder, but it quickly felt like something sweeter, like the start of a story neither of us wanted to end. Our first “non-date” date was unforgettable — a zoo adventure where we fed animals, laughed together in a cart, got adorably drooled on by a baby bison, shared a lovely dinner, and somehow ended the night at a circus in a mall parking lot. By the end of it, the spark between us felt real and undeniable. We've been dreaming daily of life-ing together since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory with John is our very first date, which was full of adventure from the start. In just one year, he has kept up with me through every wild idea, ridiculous activity, and trip we’ve taken together. No matter where we go, we turn it into something memorable, like every outing is our first date all over again. That’s what makes it so special—we don’t just go places, we create moments that feel fun, meaningful, and unforgettable together.

What would you do with $20,000?

With 20k, we’d first pay down his vehicle and then put the rest toward replacing or upgrading my 12-year-old car, which is starting to show its age and no longer feels as safe as it once did. Taking care of those priorities would give us more peace of mind and help keep us moving forward as the active, fun-loving couple we want to be, so we can keep enjoying new adventures together.
