We commented on each others cowboy boots on a Facebook post. Ken posted on Facebook that he would be coming to California from Texas to take a line dance class and asked if anyone wanted to join him. Cecilia was the only one to answer and said yes she was in. Ken was supposed to pick up Cecilia but Cecilia asked to drive herself but Ken could ride with her in case she wanted to end it early. We were in awe of the older couples still dancing together and so smooth. Cecilia said “that’s the goal”.

The first time together for the line dance class we ended up back where Ken’s car was parked about 11pm. We sat in Cecilia’s car until 3am completely losing track of time. When noticed the time we were startled and began to laugh saying “there’s no way it’s 3am!”. Cecilia laughed and said “oh my God my daughter’s gonna kill me, I was supposed to call her and I didn’t”. Ken told his daughter the same thing but just looked at Cecilia and said “oh well, well worth it!”

Give it away in a big way! Once we’re married on August 22nd 2026. (americasfavcouple is invited to attend in Los Angeles) we’re going to set out to break the Guinness Book Of Records for “The most vow renewals by an individual couple”. The current record is 101 in a 27 year window. Our plan is to break that within 365 days of our wedding date traveling the world and having vow renewals in all 50 states and over 10 countries. Along the way we will give away the $20,000 to couples, churches, etc.
