We met as teenagers and quickly became best friends. Long before we ever dated, my husband told his grandparents he would one day marry a girl named Karina. Thirty years ago, that childhood dream came true. Since then, we've grown up together—through every joy, struggle, cancer, and victory—building a life rooted in love, faith, friendship, and gratitude raising three incredible children and continuing to chase adventures hand in hand.

Our favorite memories aren't defined by one moment—they're the thousands we've shared together. Watching sunsets as teenagers, at our honeymoon and magical family moments since then. Whether it be in our garden or visiting family and friends every sunset transports us to that honeymoon sunset--orange red and filled with hope and love. It is a daily journey that reminds us that the most beautiful destination isn't a place but the experiencing the blessing and miracles all around us every day.

We’d celebrate 40 years of love by returning to a sunset in Spain and relive our honeymoon travels. We were frugal students, so we stayed in hostels and back packed through Spain. What a blessing it would be to relive the experience this time in spaces out of our reach at that time, and this time with our kids as they are our greatest joy.
