Found love in our 40s. Now we run businesses together, ride motorcycles, travel, & love our dogs. Best part? We never stop laughing.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Two new hires pulled together as if destiny arranged the desks. Friendship was instant, followed by an engagement and cohabitation within four months. Soulmates. After a Denver wedding, we flew to England for an inner‑circle Stonehenge ceremony with our elderly parents, two musicians, and a priestess, sealing a love that felt older than the ancient stones. You are never too old, and it’s never too late.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Six months after our wedding, Floyd became gravely ill - treated for pneumonia but actually in stage‑four heart failure at just fifty. Doctors couldn’t explain it and gave him a 50/50 chance of surviving five years. Yet seven years later he’s thriving, his heart normal, and no one knows why. Our greatest memory is simple and profound: he’s alive, and we’re still living life to the fullest.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we would focus on impact rather than need. Such as a donation to a cause that matters (animal welfare), invest in experiences that create memories, and set aside the rest for something meaningful down the road like a cute little outdoor kitchen. The money would be used in ways that reflect gratitude, purpose, and the chance to give a little good back into the world. Maybe a donation to our IRAs as well!
