We are each other’s safe space. I have a physical disability and he has never made me feel “less than.” We constantly support each other!
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met online and shortly after met for coffee. That first date turned into 4 hours of us walking around and talking. We had the same sense of humor, same future plans, same beliefs and uncannily similar backgrounds. We felt an immediate attraction and acceptance. We didn’t want the date to end.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We both love hiking. Due to a physical disability, I hadn’t been hiking in several years. It seemed too daunting and I had a lot of challenges that I didn’t have before. He asked if I would be willing to go and I said yes, giving him all the info and warnings. We went and it was the most incredible experience! He was supportive, aware, understanding and patient. I instantly knew he was someone I could trust and rely on, and vice versa. We have continued hiking and I gain confidence every step!
What would you do with $20,000?We are getting married in October (yay!) and plan to honeymoon in New Zealand in February. We would use part of it for a kickass honeymoon and save the rest for future adventures. We would also love to donate some to preserving our National Parks.
