We met online and hit it off! She matched my energy, and I made her laugh. Our first date was the Georgia aquarium, where we enjoyed each other’s company. I immediately felt comfortable in her presence. Halfway through the date, I got on one knee and she made a joke about me proposing! After dinner, she fell asleep on the drive home. I remember trying to drive around to let her sleep in. I’ve never met someone who has treated me the way that she did on our first date, and I’ll forget it!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I had planned to ask her to be my girlfriend on New Year’s! The plan was to hike Stone Mountain and have her best friend sneak around and take photos of us. Little did I know that as soon as we started to climb the mountain, we bumped right into her! It also seemed like she had forgotten the necklace I wanted to give. The truth was that nothing went right that night, but it really didn’t matter, because in the end she said yes and we shared a kiss under the beautiful night sky.
