Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began in 2009 when Alex was 16 and I was 15. We met in P.E. class and quickly became high school sweethearts. We spent the next 10 years growing up together before life led us down different paths. Although we were apart, we never completely lost touch. During one of the hardest seasons of my life, I reached out to Alex, and without hesitation he became my greatest source of strength. Looking back, we know God’s timing was always better than our own.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories was spending a day off at home learning the dance to I Want You Back by NSYNC. We laughed through every missed step and terrible spin. It may sound simple, but it’s one of those moments we’ll never forget because it reminded us that the best memories aren’t always the big ones but the ordinary moments filled with laughter, music, and being completely ourselves together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the $20,000 to help pay for our wedding as we begin the covenant God has called us to. We’re planning an intimate celebration surrounded by our closest family and friends, centered on our faith, love, and the people who have walked alongside us. This gift would help us start our marriage with less financial stress, allowing us to focus on what truly matters, which is building a Christ-centered life together.
