It was 2011, Brent worked at our local Harris Teeter, and I worked at Barnes & Nobel. He had shoulder length black hair at the time, which upon first seeing him, I just wanted to get my hands tangled in. On March 21st, 2011, the day before my birthday, Brent came into B&N and crossed 2 aisles to come introduce himself. I was so smitten, I even made a Facebook post about that "buttery feeling." A few weeks later, I gave him my number on a receipt for tiramisu I had bought through his line.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Not to sound too cheesy, but it's not one single memory; it's all the little moments that have built the life we have now. From celebrating anniversaries over salmon and steak at the Hilton Hotel, to beach trips with our teenage son, quiet moments at home watching shows together, and becoming homeowners, literally building our lives one painted wall at a time. Just being together, knowing we are safe and loved. He's my best friend, my forever. 🫶🏻
What would you do with $20,000?As recent homeowners, we'd immediately put some money into the house, but most importantly, we'd go on a family vacation to the beach, stay in a nice waterfront hotel, and eat so much good seafood!
