We met at work. He is a bartender, I was a server. I was newly divorced, not looking for any sort of relationship. He was raising his godson, who he raised as his own. Neither one of us wanted a significant other. We started spending time together without labeling anything. It took at least 7 months to admit we were in a relationship. It was not an easy beginning. It took a long time for trust to build on both sides. Everything we do together is an experience.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?March, 2020. I took him to see his first Broadway show, Hamilton. It was absolutely exhilarating! Two days later, Broadway went dark. March Madness was canceled but we stayed in NYC and truly made the most of it and had so much fun! Even during such a scary moment in the world.
What would you do with $20,000?Take the grandkids to Disney! We have 7! Three boys, two girls and twins due in September, a boy and a girl. They are the light and loves of our lives!
