We began dating when we were 17 (now 48). We have grown together, built an amazing family, and created an incredible life.

1996-I was dating Eric's best friend, Matt; we met in Matt's basement one night, but as teens do, we drifted toward one another. One evening he took me on our first date to sit by the bank of a river. We both heard a noise (I presumed a deadly creature) and went to jump up, but Eric used me as leverage in order to rescue himself. He has never, ever again, since that night put himself first.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Besides our wedding and our childen's birthdays, our favorite memory was traveling to Finland.In 2021, we took powerboys to go see the "real" santa inside the Arctic circle. There is a small town called Rovaniemi that hosts Santa Claus Village. We traveled by sleds, by reindeer, and magic.
What would you do with $20,000?We would renew our vows at Disneywolrd. Last year, we became Disney completists; visitng every Disney park around the world. Disney brings our family together, providing a magical place where our kids are not on devices, introducing them to all parts of the world, and spending quality time unlike anywhere else. We would love to share this with family and friends. Our children weren"t at our first wedding (10&14). Renewing, our vows at our favorite place would be eternally memorable.
