We met in prison! I’m a nurse and he is a correctional officer. He called me a broad that day and now I can’t do life without him!
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
In the most unexpected place: prison. I was working as a nurse and Eric was a correctional officer. On the first day, he called me “broad,” which should have ended things before they began—but instead, it became the first line of our love story. What started with sarcasm, side-eyes, and hallway run-ins turned into laughter, loyalty, and a love neither of us saw coming. We found each other in the least romantic place possible, and somehow built something real, hilarious, and beautiful.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is not one perfect moment—it is the life we have been building together. Starting a business, blending our worlds, supporting each other through hard seasons, and laughing when life is anything but easy. We are proof that love does not always show up wrapped in roses. Sometimes it shows up in uniform, calls you “broad,” and ends up being the person you cannot imagine doing life without.
What would you do with $20,000?Winning this would mean the world to us because our wedding is not just a party—it is the celebration of a love story we never saw coming.
