We met on Tinder and eloped, 52 days later, on a sunny Wednesday in October. Been a rush ever since.
We would like to thank you for supporting Emily + Will in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We matched on Tinder and had our first date at the Earl, a beloved Atlanta dive bar. It was a good first date. But our second date was the one that sealed the deal. Emily went to The Clermont Lounge (iykyk) with her best friend who talked her into inviting Will. We stayed up until 5am together. We didn’t admit it yet, but we both fully bought in after that night.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Any day we’ve spent exploring the desert with 4WD and no cell service. That and of course, the day we drove a few counties away to get married without anyone finding out.
What would you do with $20,000?In December 2025, we bought a new house to grow our family. A few days before we moved in, a 38-inch-wide oak tree took out the back half. It’s been 18 months, almost half the time we’ve been married- that we have been paying the mortgage and unable to live in our dream home. We are living in Emily’s parent’s basement while waiting for permits. We would use the $20,000 to help us rebuild the home we were so excited to find.
