We would like to thank you for supporting Elizabeth and Javier in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Elizabeth, a Colorado native that had aspirations of being midwife early on. I had just moved to Denver from Texas in 2014 with $20 in my pocket and a suitcase of clothes. Our paths crossed in 2017 thanks to Tinder. We matched at met up for our first date at Lakeside amusement park. I took a bus there and she didn’t have money for parking. We spent the night sharing rides, our upbringing, goals, and paths to future success. Love sparked tht nite and to this day we continue to stoke that passion.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Early on, we went to an innumerable number of concerts and traveled to a multifarious variety of different cities and countries. We dined on a myriad of exquisite, veritable cuisines. All fail in comparison to the birth of our daughter, Graciela Reyna Manriquez.
What would you do with $20,000?We would make a donation to Doctors Without Borders and Direct Relief, then use some of it start a local community charity and the rest would be set aside for our daughter’s future.
