How did your love story begin?

Our love story began a little over 33 years ago. I met my husband on a date that was set up by I girl I worked with I was a young nurse looking to meet someone. She asked me if I would like to meet one of her husbands friends that he worked with, he was a Correctional Officer just recently moved to my hometown. I said what the heck sure! We met at my friends house for dinner I made my famous lasagna and garlic bread. I at first wasn't that keen on him from our first meeting can't really say why!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Probably just the years of raising our family and learning more and more about each other as the years went on! We literally met and were married 4 months later we eloped in a little town close to where we live an told our parents after the fact. We have had so much fun together with our kids full of laughter, travel and so much humor. I cannot say enough about this man, he has been a great husband and father and always putting his family before anything else. Cheers to 33 more years!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would travel on luxury trip to Italy for 2 weeks, we have been once and would love to return. My husbands parents both were born in Italy and came to Canada so we love going to Italy and perhaps travel to the places where they were born. The last time we were there we came for a wedding and did kind of touristy things, this time would be different!
