How did your love story begin?

Our love story started with natural chemistry on a dating app that flowed effortlessly into heartfelt messaging. When we met in real life, our fascination never faded—our dates became adventures exploring Katy, San Antonio, and Boerne. We enjoyed local restaurants, sightseeing, and historic spots like the Alamo. We fell in love through the small, genuine moments and thoughtful gestures that felt completely natural.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Adolfo’s first American Thanksgiving with Elaine's family. It was filled with excitement and nerves as he met everyone for the first time. His family thoughtfully brought a gift basket of Venezuelan snacks, chocolates, and special rum. Elaine's German mom included his Venezuelan pan de jamón alongside the turkey, casseroles, and sauerkraut. Adolfo shared rum with Elaine's dad, spoke Spanish with Elaine's grandfather, and bravely practiced German with her mom and cousin who flew in from Germany.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d put it toward our wedding celebration in Germany. After our intimate civil ceremony in San Antonio, we’re planning a larger gathering so both Elaine's German family and Adolfo’s Venezuelan family can finally celebrate with us. His family can’t travel to the US. The money would cover passports, flights, and accommodation for his immediate family, plus the castle hotel venue where Elaine's parents had their own wedding celebration. It’s our dream to unite everyone we love.
