Our love story began through a DM on a Christian social app in July 2023. I had done an act of faith, surrendering my love life to God after years of waiting. 23 days later, Chris, all the way from Nigeria, sent me a message that changed everything. We talked for 6 months then I flew to Lagos and we got married at the Federal Registry. This was all by faith, the Lord led us. There were many visits and an extended stay in Lagos. We finally closed the gap in December 2025.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is when I spent 3 months living in Lagos Nigeria with Chris after we got married. I was supposed to move there but instead it turned into a few months stay. It was foundational for us, we got to experience everyday life together. He got to show me his culture and I got to live it. It allowed us to know each other deeper and bond in ways we hadn’t over the phone and it was so much fun.
What would you do with $20,000?As a Kingdom couple, our biggest desire would be to invest the money into the Gospel here in the states and abroad. Aside from that, we love to travel and haven’t had a real wedding here - so maybe a destination wedding. We’re also passionate about building a family legacy and would use part of the money on some goals we have around that.
