Our love story started with a simple Facebook message. Although we had been mutual friends online, we had never met. During Super Bowl weekend in 2022, Edwin messaged Eddie about a piña colada he had posted on his story. That one conversation turned into nonstop messaging all week. We met the following Saturday, and the connection we felt online was even stronger in person. From that first message, we knew something special had begun.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory as a couple is our engagement. Edwin planned a surprise proposal at a beautiful winery in Fredericksburg, Texas, making it a day we will never forget. The biggest part of the moment for Eddie wasn't just the proposal—it was seeing both of our families there to celebrate with us. Sharing such a meaningful milestone with the people we love made the moment even more special and is a memory we'll cherish forever.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 to make our dream wedding a reality. Like many couples, we've postponed our wedding because of the rising costs of planning and celebrating such a special day. This opportunity would allow us to finally bring our families and closest friends together to celebrate our love, create lifelong memories, and begin our marriage surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
