My parents (90/86)are married for 66 years in September. They truly are best friends & have the relationship we all strive for.

Our parents love story began as teenagers just after WW II when their families emigrated from Britain. It was love at first sight. That special love has carried them through 66 beautiful years of marriage. They still are truly best friends, walking hand in hand through every joy and challenge life brought their way. Together they raised 4 daughters in a home filled with unconditional love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their love story is truly inspirational.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There have been many trips creating memories with each other, but the most joyful memories have been with family. First with our girls and now with our grandchildren and great grandchildren. Note: my parents are capable of writing this for themselves. They are kind, loving, fun and humble. They are happy to be in the contest even though they think they’re just a regular married couple. They have created so many traditions & memories for all of us still to this day. We are so lucky.
What would you do with $20,000?When asked, my parents said they would spend it on fixing their bathroom. At 90 & 87 yers old they live independently in their home. Although they have talked many times about the Rocky Mountain train trip as a dream vacation but out of their budget. $20,000 would make this dream a reality.
