Similar to all great love stories, it began without intention. Through the power of Facebook Friend Suggest, a mutual friend suggested my profile to him. After digging through past pictures to jog my memory of who he even was, I realized we shared the same class two years in a row in 6th and 7th grade! After a few long phone calls, we quickly realized that we had a lot in common and soon after began dating long distance while he finished his time in the Marines.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It's hard to choose, but during Hurricane Irma, we lost power in our apartment for a week and to keep us busy and charge our electronics, we took a pack of cards to Barnes & Nobles and played Phase 10 and Uno for a few hours each day sitting on the floor. It turned a bad situation into a really good one and gave us a chance to just hang out together as friends.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we could actually take the time off of work to finish the renovations on our house. We want to redo the kids' rooms, the bathrooms and actually enjoy our finished house. My husband is self-employed so time off means not making money. With $20k, we can take the time to do the renovations without worry.
