My best friend Eric had kept asking me for months to see this Iron Maiden tribute band. I finally broke and said ok. I went into new place called Longview Lounge where I met my friend. I and my girlfriend at the time had never been before. As we were listening to the music a woman (my future wife) commented on my very dark shirt. I commented on her ring. We went our separate ways to our friends, but exchanged info. Within a week, my wife and I were dating and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Having a Christmas party at a karaoke bar and surprising my wife Kris, by getting on my knee and asking her to marry me on the microphone, after singing a Bon Jovi song. There were close to 300 people in the bar and it became super quiet when I had asked. All of our friends and the DJ were in on it and she was completely surprised and I was shaking like a leaf when I asked.
What would you do with $20,000?We would more than likely pay off our house, pay some bills, and put some aside for a vacation for the two of us as we never went on a honeymoon after our wedding 14 years ago.
