Connect How did your love story begin?

The creep I was only dating like an old toy when I got bored, asked if he could have some friends over to play Dungeons & Dragons. We all met at a local restaurant & when he walked up, he glowed like the sun in a rainstorm. The world spun in slow motion & I heard the chorus “Baby, yeah yeah, ooh I get chills when I’m with you” In the game his character caught fire, I put him out with my magician cloak & the rest is magical history. Long start short, keep old toys. They might lead you to a gem!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The conception & births of our children. I know this sounds cliche; but I was assaulted as a child, taking 26 reconstruction surgeries to heal it & was assured I’d never have kids. I tried to break up with him telling him he deserved to be a dad & I loved him too much to deprive him. Upon finding this out he said, “I don’t want to marry your uterus. I want YOU. There’s plenty of ways to become parents & we WILL have children, don’t you worry about that, baby. PS: MY birth children ROCK!🙏🏽

What would you do with $20,000?

We recently moved to a farm surrounded by lots of hunting lands. We don’t believe in hunting; but we do believe all these beautiful assorted creatures need a safe nursery & habitat. I’d like to buy more adjacent land to keep it natural for all the gorgeous wild life that inhabits it. People don’t understand these animals ARE our conservation & without them, the world is a much worse place. The circle of life requires more than mankind alone & we’d love to be a part of that healing.
