How did your love story begin?

Duane and I met as truck drivers, he was my trainer, but quickly became my best friend and go-to person. We talked on the phone for hours every day until i got a different job and we lost touch. Years later, we reconnected and there was enough chemistry that i offered him to move across the country with me after only being back in touch for a month. He said "are you sure?" And when i said "my door will always be open to you" he showed up at my place an hr later and we started planning our move.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The cross country move! It was chaotic and stressful, but it was also the start of our lives together. We loaded up a 26ft rv, and moved from Washington state all the way to Mississippi with his daughter, our two cats, and a 100lb dog. We broke down in Rock Springs Wyoming for 4 days over the 4th of July weekend. It was hot and miserable, but Duane kept it all together and got us up and rolling again. The trip took us 10 days, but we made it together and have been building our future ever since

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use it to get married! Duane has "unofficially" proposed to me, so i would like us to officially be the Burroughs. His mom and dad love me and cannot wait for me to be their daughter. His mom is one of the best women i know, and I'm really looking forward to dress shopping with her and having her help me plan the wedding.
