Connect How did your love story begin?

It began as friends at work. We would talk and joke around together. I’m someone that likes to make people laugh so Madi was no exception. We both had little kids at the time and it was suggested one day that we should do a play date with our kids together. That was the first time we hung out together and the first time we hugged goodbye. I really wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time and neither was she. But next thing we know we’re together - making up an anniversary date to celebrate.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is our first date. Like I had said before we started as just best friends handing out and talking daily. We never had a conversation of “what are we” or “do you want to be my bf/gf”. Just one day we realized it was US not. One unit. We made up a date to celebrate and we went to Red Lobster and stayed at the hotel right behind it. Walked to Walmart nearby for games to play.

What would you do with $20,000?

I know exactly what we would WANT to do. We always talk about wanting to visit Italy. It’s number one on our bucket list of places we want to see one day. It what we absolutely NEED it for is to pay off some things and make life a little easier as it’s been a rough couple years financially. I would like to think we’d compromise. Take a trip somewhere and pay off some debt with the money. Get relief in both ways.
