In 1986 when my (Melissa) family moved from Maryland to California. We met and had an instant crush on each other. We were 14 and 15 years old, I got my first kiss from a boy back then. My parents didn’t allow dating at the age, so Doug was run off and I was forbidden to see him. Roughly 30 years later, we stumbled on each other on fb through a mutual friend. I was married so we only chatted briefly. Fast forward to 38 years from that first meeting, we were finally married. 🩷
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we first met up after almost 38 years, we had the best time. We enjoyed a slow summer by the pool, bike riding at the beach and talking for hours on the phone. That summer felt like pure magic.
What would you do with $20,000?We have been renovating a 114 year old house and the only room left to do is our bathroom. We would love a dream en-suite!
