We met in high school in a small upstate town in South Carolina when our schools merged. Keith was a senior, I a junior. We made our relationship work through college separation, and married during Keith's last semester at Clemson University.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?With half a century behind us, there are just so many! Definitely the births of our 3 children (then the grands). Then there are the incredible experiences of living in Puebla, Mexico and Shanghai, China. But building our dream sanctuary, Yonderways, tucked in a holler on the edge of the Pisgah National Rainforest will always hold a special place in our hearts. Keith misses his "girls" - 26 chickens. And I miss our 3 potbelly pigs - RIP.
What would you do with $20,000?Travel! We retired and relocated to SC to be minutes from my mom. Keith and I stay healthy to tackle our long international bucket list. This prize allows us to immerse ourselves in new countries and cultures right now, bypassing our tight retirement budget.
