We met 41 years ago while living in the same building. I discovered that he had all the qualities I was looking for. He had good morals, a good work ethic, he was honest, intelligent, hardworking, ambitious, had a great personality, and had a sick sense of humor like me. I knew he was something very special and rare. We developed a great friendship. We were together all the time. Every time I was with him felt more intense. I fell deeply, madly, and passionately in love with him.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took a once in a-lifetime trip to French Polynesia and got to see Tahiti and Bora Bora. When we were there, we were reminiscing about how we met and about when the apartment building we lived in burned down, we each had to move in with our parents. I sent a greeting card to him that said something about how our relationship is in the cards. He told me that his father saw the card and loved it and told him that he should pursue a relationship with me and that I was special. That made me cry!
What would you do with $20,000?Because of our work schedules we were never able to travel and do all the things we dreamed about and wanted to do. Now that we are retired this would enable us to do the things we missed out on such as seeing the world and experiencing all it has to offer.
