We met 19yrs ago, both ending bad marriages with small children. He was in the Army and being sent overseas, I was navigating life as a working single mom. We became social media friends. He retired from the Army in 2018 and moved home. We both we living unhappy lives but making the best of it. FINALLY in April of 2022, he asked me out on a date. We have been loving and living life together ever since
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have created a lot in the last few years but my favorite would be our trip to Mackinaw Island in July 2025. I thought we were going for a quick getaway. He planned and executed a perfect marriage proposal on the front lawn of the Grand Hotel
What would you do with $20,000?We are renovating his childhood home, and making that our permanent home, planning a wedding and would love to take a honeymoon to Bran's Castle in Romania $20K would help tremendously
