Connect How did your love story begin?

Like many millennial love stories, ours started on Hinge. Thank you Hinge! After we matched, his first message wasn’t “hi”—it was, “Are you blonde? Or are you still blonde?” My profile had photos with both dark hair and blonde highlights, so I asked him the exact same question since he also had highlights.“Touché,” he replied. We started chatting, FaceTimed before meeting, & he planned a golf date for our first date. What began with a joke about hair color turned into something pretty special.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is our first trip together to Yosemite National Park with friends. We spent our days hiking, biking, exploring, and spotting wildlife, including deer and a bear! It was our first adventure as a couple. We also love spending each month watching the full moon, stars, and changing moon cycles from our porch with our telescope. This August, we’re excited to make new memories exploring Lisbon and Madeira together.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d put it toward our dream home and creating a family compound where both of our parents can live close by. My dad is in the middle stages of Alzheimer’s, and having my parents nearby would mean everything as his needs change. The money would help us build an ADU or in-law suite, bringing our families together and creating a home centered on love, support, and making every moment count.
