My aunt and his mom were roommates in a hospital. They set us up to meet. 2 months of dating, we were in love. 7 months we were engaged. 26 months we spoke our vows. Both of us had been casually dating other people not looking for a serious relationship. He was everything I wanted and I was everything he wanted. We knew we had met the person of our dreams. Our wedding was red, white & blue. Washington DC was a stop on our honeymoon. It would be cool to win this during our Country’s 250 birthday.

The births of our 3 children and our wedding are high on the list. After Mark working 41 years in manufacturing and I unfortunately spent the last 30 years having 20 surgeries due to 3 accidents caused by other people and all that entails. We feel blessed to have overcome all these hurdles and make it to grand parenthood. No greater feeling than holding our granddaughter Ellie. The pictures of us holding her for the 1st time are priceless. Favorite memory ever. We are truly blessed and thankful.

Take a 42 anniversary trip. Alaska, Italy or pull our RV across the United States and visit places we haven’t been. It would be wonderful if our adult kids and our only grandchild could join us for a portion of our dream trip too. $20,000 could definitely make another wonderful memory come true for us.
