We met while in the cast for a local theater's production of "Godspell." We spent many nights talking in the parking lot after rehearsal, sometimes until the street cleaners drove by. Between making each other laugh and holding on through tears, we finally realized we were going to be better together than we ever could be apart.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Probably our 25th‑anniversary trip to Florida with our 4 kids, who were then 15 to 23. It was that sweet spot where they were independent enough that we didn’t have to hover, yet still loved spending time with us. We spent the week laughing, exploring, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Then they surprised us with a scrapbook they had created—packed with messages from dozens of our friends. That unexpected act of love made an already wonderful trip unforgettable.
What would you do with $20,000?Finish up a couple projects around the house. Specifically, make our deck maintenance-free . . . and maybe a trip to Hawaii!
