How did your love story begin?

We met in high school and spent months together before we finally made it official. Shortly after we got together his family fell on hard times and he needed a place to live. After begging my mom, she reluctantly agreed to let him move in with us and soon after, much to the dismay of my mother, we were pregnant. After our beautiful baby boy was born, we got married surrounded by all of our friends and family. We have been inseparable ever since and have never been happier.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When our son was 6 months old, we decided to pack up, buy an RV a travel from Washington state to California and traveled around the state for the entire summer. We stayed in state parks on various beaches and made so many wonderful memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We often tell our son who is now 13 about our adventures with him.

What would you do with $20,000?

We now have 4 children of our own and our niece and nephew live with us as well. We live in a rented small 3-bedroom house and have been saving up to buy our forever home. My husband has always been the provider for our family while I stayed home our children but that is just not cutting it anymore so this year, I decided to start college so I can get a job and help make our dream of being homeowners finally come true! This money would turn that dream into a reality!
