We met on Hinge! We immediately clicked and soon learned that there were many instances we could have met in person. We grew up in the same city and then attended the same university at the same time and our dorm buildings were next to each other. I would walk through a pathway where Crystal would sit and study often. She worked at the library I always went to. We find it amazing how we could have met years before, but the universe made sure we found each other at the exact right time.

Last summer we visited some friends that live in the east coast and had a mini weekend trip with them in NYC! Some of our plans got disrupted with heavy rain and floods, which would usually stress Crystal (as any other type A Virgo would), but us experiencing it together allowed her to feel at ease and have fun running through the flooded streets of NYC to find somewhere we can remain dry. This was our first out of state trip as a couple and definitely one we will never forget.

We are hoping to be able to invest in our dreams of moving to a state where we feel safe and accepted. Unfortunately we currently live in a state where, as a lesbian couple, we are feeling less and less comfortable living here. We also plan on having a family in the future and would like to raise our children somewhere more accepting. This move is something we both have been talking and saving about since the beginning of our relationship and is something we are very much looking forward to.
