We still hold hands when we’re driving after 49!years of marriage. It always feels like the first time we held hands.

It began 54 years s ago when I met my husband at a party, we covered many topics that evening.he was making plans to ride bicycles on the coast of Nova Scotia. I said I would love to do that. So we practiced every week. One ride Tom stopped at a hotdog stand and asked me if I wanted one. I couldn’t believe it, I only dated guys who liked skinny girls , never offering anything outside of a salad. I knew instantly this is someone I could love the rest of my life.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many. Bicycling, sailing, hiking, boating, swimming. Just sitting in our living room every morning with a cup of coffee. Giving birth to our two beautiful daughters. Going out in storms checking out the area around us. Being grandparents.
What would you do with $20,000?Practical and responsible side would put the money towards our retirement. The fun side would take our family on a trip across the country or to Europe.
